Why ORKUT is Thrashed out?

When it comes to social networking might it be related to dating, simply joining out with school friends, playing social games, increasing your social network and obviously commenting on eachother status to make our life a real easy go on Internet.

But the question out there in many experts mind nowadays is why ORKUT is unable to make an impact on social networking?

You might have been a part of ORKUT too, but how many of you are still using it anymore for what you usually do on FACEBOOK, the answer is simple here ORKUT is a bit retro in terms planing, making your impact out there in networking and obviously like facebook it was or is still unable to make a security check and save its customers from phishing fraud.

Facebook stands out the best right now for many reasons.

1.  Dynamic presentation: It has the best presentation, and fastest service right now in this era of social networking, the possibility is that the facebook creators have solely kept each and every demand of a visitor in mind, they might have been using different scripting languages or even modified versions to make it work a bit faster than other sites of this class.
2.  Better management: Facebook possibly is one of the greatest used networking site on net and best part is its completely free, no it's not virtually it might be free for you but the creators are not stupids out there to provide you such a high class service for free. So how do they revenue out of you. You might have noticed some ads on the side of your feed screen, and guess what they even might be related to your needs and interest, so how do facebook knows everything about your interests, is it a magical saint?. No its not, when you sign up for facebook you might have written about you, your favorite books, music, movie, why you joined facebook and all that, i.e, for friendship, dating, interested in man, girl, friend and question like these are usually asked. So by knowing your interest they by having such a management that they are able to provide you relevant ads by querying their advertisers.
3.  Your social impact: You actually have a better opportunity to increase your social impact on facebook then on orkut or even twitter, you can make groups and easily promote your views and have your followers with you with a similar approach to life and ultimately you are able to make your IMPACT between friends and others in facebook, whoever follows your group or so.
4.  You can Earn: Possibly you might be knowing much about blogging and bloggers, so I can guess that you might be knowing about affiliate marketing primarily used by blog owners and writers to make some income via their blogs, obviously they don't write down everything for just fun, if they are providing some knowledge to you should give them something, that is purchase their referrals, in this blog their is no use of affiliate marketing do not confuse yourself with ads, though they too are source of income to us but do not produce much then affiliate marketing does. So how can you earn from facebook? the answer is really simple, you just need to join some affiliate program of big affiliates which have collaborations with big companies like Sony, LG, and others, you can even make a simple ad for your own product too. Then simply you have to just create an "ad" and target them to your audience, you do not have to do anything everything will be done by facebook once the ad is created, simply you will have to answer about what type of age group you want to target and all this stuff, high school students or married couples, if you are selling out anything.. you will have to pay simply a small amount in its promotion in facebook and in turn will be receiving huge amount from your affiliate marketer so what are you waiting for go make use of facebook...
5. Security wise Best: facebook possibly has been able to make a control over its security problems other than orkut which I think should be handled with care, haha... very risky, when I was  not
   knowing all stuff about phishing sites, freezers, my account was once hacked and guess what my account was in ORKUT since then I have not used it..... you cannot give directly a link inside facebook for a phishing site, I tried many a times but failed... so sad, I was not able to hack account of the one who hacked my orkut account, but one naught thing you can try with friends, and that is facebook freezer, suppose you and your friend plan to meet on facebook after an hour or so, go and sit a little before and just enter your Friend's Email address in the software, what it does is it logins by entering automatically random passwords, so even if your friend enters the correct password he is unable to make a login successful and ultimately gets tensed your job is done, you have made your friend a fool. 
6. More activities possible: In facebook you can tag your friend in a photo, ad video, share music, send a poker invitation, cause invitation and many other things i guess.... In orkut too you can do a lot but the problem there is presentation, you can make communities of your own in orkut but they are more rough, visitors or followers or members of the community can not make a comment easily that in a facebook group, facebook group is somewhat similar to orkut communities but is obviously better..

This is why facebook is still alive, so if you are an IT professional and are planning out there to launch a social networking site, then be prepared for a tough competition with facebook and let your users believe that you are a better alternative for facebook than anyother even facebook itself.. believe it or not orkut now is gone....
